REVIEW | Terra Restaurant
Terra Restaurant just recently celebrated their 20th anniversary during the month of October. As we all know, the food industry is a cut throat one and for a restaurant to be able to celebrate a 20th anniversary does tell us that they must be doing something right! This was our first visit to Terra and it definitely won't be our last.
Bison Carpaccio
We went in with high expectations knowing that Terra has held the reputation as being one of the best restaurants in the GTA. It's not just about the food though, there's so much more that goes into being one of the best restaurants in Toronto including the level of service and ambiance.
Immediately upon walking inside, we noticed the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The interior resembled a sophisticated yet homey upscale restaurant. The service during our entire meal was impeccable. The servers were extremely attentive and were readily available to us at any given time.
If the service was any indication of what the food was going to be like, we were not going to be disappointed at all.

Yuzo and Chile Marinated Raw Day Boat Jump Scallop & Pork Belly
Branzino with seasonal vegetables
12oz Striploin with mashed potatoes and vegetables
White chocolate cheesecake
Apple Crumble
From our wines, appetizers, to the last bite of our dessert, we couldn't have asked for more. The Branzino and the Scallops were standouts for us, as well as the 12oz. striploin.
We're excited and happy to have discovered Terra for a great fine dining experience, North of the GTA.
