Mini Lattice Cherry Pies
My daughter Bay and I decided to try out my new William-Sonoma Lattice
Pocket Pie Mold today. We had so much fun working together on these
little cuties! We weren't going for a recipe......we just used Pillsbury Pie
crust and tinned cherry pie filling because we were anxious to test the molds.
I got the last lattice molds our store had. They do have others in the shape
of apples, hearts, stars and pumpkins. They are sooo cute! I love William-
Sonoma.... I think I'm W-S junkie.....
The mold was very easy to use but we came up with a few tricks to get the
dough out of the lattice side including using a toothpick. It worked great!
Here you stuff with any filling you like. I can't wait to try a savory pie like
a cornish pasty or a spanish empanada.
These would be just perfect for a picnic or in a lunchbox. It's the perfect
portion for one.
Cupcakes smupcakes.......instead of little cakes......how about little pies instead?
