Wordless Wednesdays - Salt Pepper Pork Chops Recipe
Wordless Wednesday! :D
This post is part of my Yuen Chun Recipes.
4 pork chops (with fatty bits if you like)
1 tablespoon corn flour (for light marinating)
Sprinkle of salt
2 bulbs of garlic, roughly minced (I like lots of garlic for this dish)
4 stalks green onions, sliced (use the white parts for cooking)
4 bird's eye chili peppers ( remove seeds for less heat), sliced
Enough oil for shallow frying of the pork chops
Method:
Firstly, shallow fry the pork chops until golden brown. Remove and drain with paper towels.
Set aside.
Heat up your wok again until almost smoking. Add 3 tablespoons of oil. Turn heat to low and add garlic, green onions (white parts) and peppers.
Once fragrant, add in about 2 teaspoons of salt. Turn in the pork chops from earlier and fry briskly to coat evenly. Dish out and serve hot with rice!
