My Nepal Trip...a Photo Journey...
I'm back from my long awaited Nepal trip and I've been suffering from very acute post-holiday blues since yesterday! Anyway, I thought I would like to share with you my dear readers - photos from my much anticipated and highly enjoyable and eye-opening trip in Nepal. I totally adored the place and I can't wait to go back! It's pretty hard to totally describe how excellent it was so I shall let the photos do the talking, after all a picture paints a thousand words right?
I loved this door shot, offering a glimpse of the beautiful hall in a temple...
A view of the Great Stupa in Bouddha, a World Heritage Site - the locals and tourists walk around and around the stupa making prayers and wishes in the hopes of getting them fulfilled...
A monk performing daily prayer rituals...
Random window shot
A colourful procession of Hindu devotees celebrating a festival...
The ornate horns that the monks or lamas use in ceremonies/ rituals - one of my favourite shots in the trip
A monastery on a hilltop...
See the row of beef jerky hanging above the stove...
Little lamas or monks chanting mantras
Goodbye Nepal for now!
