This is a recipe of food from India I did in college. Well almost. I did it before, but later improved after lunch and enjoy a lot of seafood curry of Goa in recent years.
Most had some kind of crab cartoons drawn on them, but it is often difficult to tell what the picture on the front left.
Crab Curry This recipe makes the crab meat tasted great!
(Serves 4 hungry people)
Ingredients for Shrimp and Crab Curry
3 live crabs and 10 prawns (If you can not buy his life seafood, make sure they are fresh fish!)
3 tablespoons butter or ghee
6 shallots, finely chopped
1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
1 sprig (about 15) of fresh curry leaves (if you can not buy fresh curry leaves, dry buy
5 cloves garlic - finely chopped
An inch piece ginger
3 green chilies, seeded and cut in half by half
1 / 2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon chile powder soft red
400ml coconut milk
The juice of two lemons
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons fresh cilantro
If you are cooking live crab and shrimp, put a large pot of water to boil. Boil the crabs for about 8 minutes and the prawns for one minute. Remove and set aside.
In a wok or large skillet, melt the butter and throw the mustard seeds. Started to appear, add the sliced shallots and curry leaves. Fry for about five minutes until the shallots are lightly browned and translucent.
