Nigella and the Golden Globes
Last night we made a couple of recipes out of the Nigella Express
cookbook to enjoy while watching the Golden Globes. Jim and I
like to have a nice meal and make a event out of it. We made
Nigella's Maple Chicken 'n' Ribs and her Warm Potato Salad.......
both were fabulous!
I really enjoyed the show and loved watching all the fashion on
the red carpet. My favorite dress was worn by Olivia Wilde in
Marchesa and I loved how Halee Steinfeld looked age appropriate
Prabul Gurung cream dress. I thought she was amazing in True Grit.
I was dissappointed that Michelle Williams didn't win for Blue
Valentine and also that Sophia Vergara didn't win for Modern Family.
She is hilarious as Gloria.......she's my husbands favorite too. Go figure....
As for the men......Jake Gyllenhaall looked amazing and it's always fun
to see Johnny Depp at an awards show but he didn't bring VP (my
favorite singer) and that really bummed me out..... Sigh.......
