What a surprise!

I came home this afternoon (I was already excited because I have a long 4 day weekend) and found Janet from The Skinny on Mini awarded Mika's Pantry the Stylish Blogger and The Versatile Blogger awards!

I'm just beyond thrilled! Thank you, Janet for the sweet words on your blog and passing these great awards on to me. I love your blog want to thank you for sharing your recipes and your fun creative spirit!

Eight things about myself.........hmmm......

1. I am a Mom to 3 amazing kids, one of which was adopted from S. Korea.

2. I love to cook and collect cookbooks, especially Nigella Lawson, Tessa Kiros and Jamie Oliver.

3. Traveling is a passion of mine and would love to go all over the world. So far the farthest I've been is S. Korea on a birthland tour to visit my daughter's homeland.

4. I am totally loving combining my passions of cooking and blogging.

5. I LOVE dogs! I have two right now a Chocolate Lab and a Cairn Terrier but want a Papillon really bad!

6. I was just published in a cookbook by Molly O'Neill called One Big Table! I'm on page 328.......check it out!

7. I'm a huge Vanessa Paradis fan.

8. I'm married to my soul mate, my wonderful husband Jim. Next week we will be married for 21 years.
