Cranberry Orange Pull-Apart Bread
It's tradition at our house to have this wonderful
pull-apart bread on Christmas morning.
I have been making this recipe for years but
I try not to make it too often so it will stay special
for the holiday season. The kids really
look forward to it!
Cranberry Orange Pull-Apart Bread
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup dried cranberries
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 (12 oz) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Glaze
1/3 cup confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon orange juice
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a 9" pie plate with non-stick cooking spray.
In a medium size bowl, combine the sugar, pecans, cranberries, butter and orange zest.
Open the biscuits, separate and cut into fourths.
Toss the biscuits with the sugar mixture and pour into prepared pie pan; place in the
preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
Turn out on a dinner plate and immediately drizzle with glaze.
Serve warm.
I like to mix the sugar, craisins, orange zest and pecans
the night before so I can get back to the fun of opening presents and not spending too much time in the kitchen.
It really speeds things up so I can be done in a jiffy!
After it comes out of the oven just flip it out onto a
plate and top with the orange glaze.
I'd love to hear what your family does for breakfast
on Christmas morning.
We love our holiday tradition!
